Why work for us?
Challenging work
Auckland’s annual population growth demands the completion of this complex project within tight timeframes.
The CRL team is consistently challenged with tunnelling through an established city; construction on reclaimed land; the gradient of the tunnel; and the proximity of our central Britomart station to the harbour.
We are proud to say we have a Safety and Sustainability lens on all of our construction work and have embraced Maori design throughout our station design.
People and Culture
We're a close team of local and international infrastructure specialists. We work collaboratively and rely on each other’s expertise to achieve team outcomes.
Career development
The development of our people is a key focus for the City Rail Link senior leaders.
We invest in a broad range of project relevant training courses and conference attendance. This investment is a way for us to value the contribution from our team and is also a reflection of our commitment to helping build specialist capability within the rail industry.
Flexible work life balance
Our office hours are 7am–7pm Monday–Friday. The CRL team enjoy the flexibility of working hours that suit their personal and family commitments, whilst balancing the needs of the project.
Meaningful work
The CRL team share in a joint passion for changing the way Aucklanders move and enhancing the city’s economic growth, through delivering NZ’s first underground passenger rail network.
