CRL celebrated all things te reo this Māori Language Week, beginning on Monday 9th of September. It featured transport-themed word-of-the-day posts, internal competitions and even an article published by CRL’s Chief Executive Sean Sweeney.

Words of the day: 

  • Monday - Atua whiowhio, railway train, steam engine, locomotive, train

  • Tuesday - Rerewē Rarowhenua, underground railway, subway

  • Wednesday - Pahi, bus

  • Thursday - Teihana rerewē, railway station

  • Friday - Arapoka, tunnel
