Crossrail CEO visits

We were pleased to have the former Chief Executive Officer of London’s massive Crossrail project, Mark Wild, on the project this month.

Crossrail was responsible for delivering the Elizabeth Line, a 100km railway line throughout central London that included a total of 41 stations, with 10 major new stations.

Although City Rail Link (CRL) may be small in comparison to the scale of Crossrail, Mark nevertheless was excited to step foot on our Maungawhau Station (Mt Eden) construction site and share his experiences with the team.

In the video above Mark acknowledges that just like the Elizabeth Line, CRL is a “once in a generation” project that will “shape the city for many, many years to come”.
